How to Select Your WordPress Themes for the Highest CTR on PPC Ads

How can you select a WordPress theme for the highest CTR on PPC ads? This article will attempt to address this question.

PPC services like Google Adsense or Yahoo Publisher Network will only  pay you when you get clicks on the ads hosted on your niche website.  My recommedation to use the most simple lightest theme possible.  This is the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) method.

Here are the top 5 tips for the KISS method to the WordPress theme selection for the highest CTR on PPC ads:

  1. Avoid high resolution graphics. High resolution graphics slow down the load time of your niche website or blog.  Remember visitors usually don’t have too much patience and might leave your site before it loads.
  2. Use simple, neat and organized themes. It makes it easier for visitors to browse for a longer period on your niche website or blog.  This will provide longer browsing time by the visitor and more page views.  More page views = more clicks = more revenue
  3. Avoid themes that utilizes Java for unnecessary functions. This includes utlizing Jave for mouse over effects on images or image resizing effects.  These slow down load time for visitors.
  4. If your website has a high subscriber base, it is important to change your  ad layouts regularly. This will provide a new fresh look to your visitors and keep them clicking on ads, otherwise your visitors might be ad blind to your ad placement.  Ad blindness = lower CTR ratio
  5. Limit the amount of the outbound links. There is no reason to send your traffic to other site.
