You have decided on your niche or you are still in the early stages of research. Here is a very easy way to find the highest paying CPC (Cost Per Click) keyword for the most popular advertisement platform, Google Adsense. Finding the highest paying CPC is key to monetize your niche website.

The keyword tool is part of Google Adwords. It’s primary purpose was designed as a tool for publishers (Adwords clients) to estimate their average price per click to run their ads. So if you are trying to monetize your site, it is critical that you learn to utilize this keyword tool since it will tell you absolutely valuable statistics on search volume on certain keyword phases, the CPC of the keyword or phase, etc.

So how do you use Adwords – Keyword Tool?

  1. Click here to log on or type the following into your browser (I’m not sure why but I get issues with Mozilla on this site occasionally so I prefer IE on this web application): https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal?defaultView=2
  2. Now enter your niche or a keyword that defines your niche site.  Note you can enter a word or a phrase related to your niche site.  If you enter multiple words or phases, you will have to separate the different words / phases with a different line.  For this post, I will enter “Plasma TV” and “Mounting a Plasma TV”.
